Gila Monsters are one of only two venomous lizard species in the world. After decades of not seeing any in the wild, I’ve started seeing them once in a while, including on our property. So far none in the closet or under the bed.
This one actually was heading down the path towards the house, but changed its mind when it became the center of attention.
